Talisman Energy Inc. - Talisman entered Indonesia in 1994 through the acquisition of Bow Valley Energy Inc., giving us interests in the Corridor Block and Ogan Komering JOB in South Sumatra, among other assets. Through the 2005 acquisition of Paladin Resources, Talisman acquired interests in the offshore South East Sumatra Block, and the Offshore North West Java Block. Talisman was awarded the high-potential deepwater Pasangkayu Block (in partnership with Marathon Oil as operator) in 2006, continued with the high-potential deepwater Sageri lock in 2007 and Andaman III in 2009. From existing producing assets alone, Talisman is expected to achieve rapid growth in Indonesia in the nest years (from almost 50,000 boe per day in 2007 to over 80,000 boe per day in 2010)

Planning Analyst
Reporting to the Planning Manager, you will be principally responsible for building and maintaining upstream economic models for a wide range of assets (existing and possible business development opportunities), and explaining your results. As such, upstream economic modelling expertise is crucial to this role.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in upstream oil and gas economic modeling,
• Polished English language communication and presentation skills,
• Ability to ask questions when faced with ambiguity or shifting priorities,
• An aptitude for learning new systems and processes,
• In addition to the above qualities, preference will be given to candidates who have had a minimum 5 years exposure to accounting and finance functions.
